We are very happy to announce we are now the exclusive Northern California distributor for Solar Logic’s SLIC Controller. The homeowner now has full control over their solar thermal heating and cooling systems through SLIC, by removing the complexity from solar heating.
The SLIC controller is solar simplified using a file generated by the SLASH-D design program. Most importantly, this system requires no programming. Upon installation, the system is ready using plug and play technology. Additionally, this device replaces all traditional hardware, including set point and differential controllers, switching relays, transformers, zone valve controls, and DHW recirculation controls. It comes with simple, easy to use room thermostats.

Thermostat Control
Furthermore, simply set your thermostat for solar-only, normal or auxiliary operating mode then walk away. It is that simple. For example, you can set the “solar-only” mode for your entire house or per zone to maximize savings.
SLIC Controller Easy to use.
Set your thermostat to auxiliary mode to prioritize comfort. Normal mode is used to strike a balance between prioritizing savings and comfort. Each mode can be set for the entire house or one or more zones, depending on your need.
You can also set your thermostats and monitor your system from any computer or smart device. Warm up your house before you come home from work or heat up your pool or water heater when you want to use it. This system gives you full control anywhere you have access to the internet. SLIC will even automatically make use of waste heat left in the pipes after satisfying a heat call. Nothing is left to waste.

Monitor’s System’s Health
The system logs and monitors over 250 data points, so if necessary the homeowner can check in with the system to make sure all is well. The diagnostic mode allows the SLIC system to operate the remotely, anywhere you have access to your computer or smartphone. It does this by isolating and testing each component, to verify correct operation at start-up and to troubleshoot any potential problems that could arise. This will prevent any expensive service visits and the service technician shows up on the job with the correct part.
